I’m part of the video team at Future Publishing in London; producing content, writing scripts, recording voice overs, optimising for distribution channels on Brightcove and Youtube and keeping a close eye on our analytics. I currently make content for T3 and Techradar.
Before that I was editor of online technology blog techfluff.tv – covering tech events, social media news and exciting new web products in the UK and Europe.
In 2011 I completed a BJTC accredited Broadcast Journalism MA with distinction at City University in London. I’m a trained multi-platform journalist (that’s TV, radio and online) and have qualifications in Media Law and Journalism Ethics.
I did my undergraduate in English at the University of Nottingham and graduated with a first.
I was News Ed at our award winning student radio station, URN.
For our relentless hard work and creativity, we won GOLD for best student station and I won BRONZE for best journalistic programming at The Student Radio Awards 2010.
My hometown’s Bournemouth, so I miss the beach when I’m up in the big smoke.
When I’m not doing journalism stuff, I spend the rest of my time going out to listen to new music and searching out cool free/cheap things to do in London.
