Competent with basic editing on FCP, Adobe Audition and iMovie.

May 2011 – Present: I’m video producer for Techradar and T3 where I work as part of Future Publishing’s technology video team making informative and entertaining online video content.

I oversee and project manage video content from initial concept through to final cut and online seeding.

Managing both editorial and advertorial shoots.

Dec 2010 – May 2011: Editor for online technology blog TechFluff.tv covering tech events, startups and new ideas for the web and social media.

It’s my job to create regular and fun video content and to ramp up traffic to the site through social media platforms.

This content I research, present, record and edit – the whole shabang.

August 2009: Working with on-line T.V. channel issTV producing packages.

  • Filming techniques.
  • Familiarity with Final Cut Pro.

June 2009: 1 week newsgathering at BBC South television.

I learnt how packages are put together for TV, from original lead to seeing how it goes out live in a bulletin from the gallery.

  • Familiarity with BBC in-house software and BBC Health & Safety at Work and Production Safety courses via Gateway.
  • Producing content for BBC Online.
  • Field reporting and work on an outside broadcast, including how to best interview the public on camera, shot technique, positioning etc.
